  Ate here while in town for softball tournament. Mom & pop joint. Looks like an old timey fiber from the outside. We got chicken filets, pizza burger, and a Philly cheese steak. We waited inside for our to go order on the bar stools. The two ladies inside were extremely friendly. Food was hot and tasted great! We all got canned drinks with our food. I'll be eating here again when in town.

  I hate the phrase "it is what it is," but ... well, this place is definitely that.
  
  Bud's is a small, no-frills little grill in a small, no-frills little town. The menu is cheap, with most things under $3 and everything under $5. Almost all of the seats face the grill, which for some reason reminded me of a school cafeteria grill, even though I don't remember my cafeteria having any such thing.
  
  A large, deep rectangular metal pan holds pre-cooked breakfast meats -- bacon, sausage, some sort of bigger sausage. A metal press, rather than a toaster or oven, creates the "toast." The cheese appears to be American singles.
  
  My bacon, egg and cheese sandwich was small and plain but satisfying. Glad I stopped by.
